MoMA Features Humanair

Humanair, an air purifier designed by Manuel Saez for Humanscale is currently featured at The Museum of Modern Art exhibition, “Design and the Elastic Mind,” from February 24 to May 12, 2008 in New York City. Humanair accompanies more than 200 designs on display that unite scientific research with the limitations, habits, and aspirations of the human being. Humanair uses a patented filtration system cultivated in Sweden. The unique design operates in virtual silence without a noticeable draft to create an envelope of clean air that surrounds users where they spend the vast majority of their time—at their desks, at work, and in bed. In addition to using just seven watts of energy for power consumption, Humanair is a vital step toward green, healthy living.
