Stanford D School

Manuel Saez was invited to speak at the Stanford D School. Framed as a dialogue with the students and faculty, the presentation covered an overview of the award-winning CMYK Elektric bike and revealed some insights on how to start and run a design studio. The students also had a chance to test-ride the CMYK bike inside their loft space and discover the thrill of a new means of transportation.

About the CMYK Elektric Bike

The CMYK Elektric Bike is an electric folding bike for short commutes, designed to complement public transportation. Its reduced size, ease of transportation and storage are convenient benefits for the urban dwellers.

About the D School

The Stanford Design Program is at the forefront of defining the direction of the field which is in the midst of a profound shift, developing new transdisciplinary methodologies to address issues such as energy, widespread behavior change, and complex business challenges.
